    Coccothrinax hioramii ?

I'm sure most of you have seen the new seeds on Ebay - I got outbid last week, but last night, I won two sets - a 500, and a 100 set (What will I do with them all ?!?!?) And I was wondering if any of you have grown this one before? If not, why not? If so, why? For me, it was just something...

    Pandanus and Opuntias anyone?

I meant to say, also, that I would love to hear from others who grow them as well - how you grow them, etc.

    Pandanus and Opuntias anyone?

These are two of my more recent "addictions" - and am slowly building on my collections of these two genera - is there anyone else out there who enjoys these plants? (Not to mention, I'm always looking for ones I don't have yet, if you have any leads.) I must say, I am very impressed at the...

    Monstera deliciosa

Dean, if you look at the photos of my plant, you will see near the upper sections it's markedly light lime green - that is not just light / shade / shadow in the photo, that is the actual variegation - and it's getting more and more prominent in each new leaf. Maybe it's just a poor photo ...

Would you like some Palms ?

Moose - in a nutshell, no. I must say, though, that this has a much, much better feel to it, and the folks are awesome! Not every site is equal, and everybody will be more at home at some, more than others. As for being invited here - I'm not just some guy out to make cash - but a true plant...

    Philodendron gigas

Guys, This is more in my area of expertise (But I'm no expert, by all means) - but the first one, I assume is P. gigas. The other two plants seem to be closer to P. verracosum, or something similar. I belong to a Philodendron group, and would be happy to share your photos for verification...

How to Propagate Cordylines (Ti plants)

Hi, Roots (almost) in a week - wow! That's as fast as a willow! Dean - you've opened another can of worms! :) Up here, New Zealand Flax is what they call Phormium , a big "grass" with no trunk. Those are great, too, but I can never give them enough sun to keep them going. Interesting note...

How to Propagate Cordylines (Ti plants)

Scott, I have one of those - but more maroon (Dracaena marg. rubra) - they are very different than what we have, that are called "Spikes." I think it's crazy that we can buy the same plant, but marketed as two different things by the same box stores. Now I really want to know what they really...

    Monstera deliciosa

Dean, did you see the unusual lime variegation ? I found it as a "surprise" at a local store - and a friend pointed out a TINY fleck of lime on one of the leaves. That was last fall. Since then, it has put out two new leaves (The two largest in the photo) and the variegation keeps getting...
