ah, Jeff M - that's who I got these Pandans from :) He's the best. (Hope a few more of you guys join me in my up-and-coming order, to help defray the costs.) I also got some P. tectorius and am hungry for more... Right now , I use photo booth, with the camera right on my Mac laptop...

    Beaucarnea recurvata (aka Ponytail Palm)

Ditto on the variegates! I had a few, but they're gone now - I have three regulars - one cute little baby (Impulse purchase at a box store), an ancient one, basketball size caudex, only 1 1/2 feet tall total, and a very old weird contorted Bonsai specimen - I can't describe it, but will take...

    Some pictures (My photographic introduction!)

Dean, not sure how to make them bigger, except take closer-up photos of the plants. You are dead-on with the Pandanus (utilis) - Pandanus are something I have not been growing for very long, but they are an instant favorite. They just are - no real reason. I really like how they spiral, and...

How to Propagate Cordylines (Ti plants)

Scott, do you know the correct Botanical name for the "Spikes" ? Some say Drac. indivisa, some say Cordyline australis? I'd like the right name to go with them.

How to Propagate Cordylines (Ti plants)

What are those Dracaena indivisa "Spikes" sold at box stores and mega stores ? I think they are in fact Cordylines. Here are pictures of mine. They come in green or maroon. As for the "Lemon Lime" above - isn't that a Dracaena? Or is there a Lemon Lime Cordyline as well?

    Some pictures (My photographic introduction!)

I didn't want to clutter my "intro" - so here are some random pictures I just took, of random plants! Let's play "guess what it is" - (I won't let it drag on and on) - just start off with some fun! Sorry about the "background" - it's my fiancee's condo, and she's packing / unpacking. Some...

    Jubaea chilensis sprouts

I can't imagine being THAT patient - I mean, 2008 to 2011... that's nearly a lifetime ;) That said, I'm patiently waiting for some Hyphaene and Acrocomia seeds that I planted this spring, that probably will take a few years... The best way to deal with it is, as others have said, just forget...

    I'm new here!

Please excuse me if this is in the wrong place - I could not find another place to "put" my intro. I just got introduced to this site - and it looks great! Has a good feel to it. I have a rare / unusual plant business called The Silent Seed, in the "Frozen North" - Zone 5b, in Massachusetts...
