Phil - how do you glom on extra ? I have experienced starting off with a huge sphagnum ball is not effective, often not staying dry enough and poor root development. What is your technique ?

Oh yah, the guy who started the thread on Palm Talk said it was Talipot. Then Jeff mentioned that Andre said it definitely is Utan. Gotta trust Andre's eye. The old leaves in this photo are not very helpful.

Like Ana, my Sturrock's looks different but is shaded. Ana - a practice of mine you may want to consider. All plants that I get get tagged, the source of the plant is also included on the tag (usually initials) Mike Woolery = BW, Jeff Searle = JS, Marie Nock = MN, etc ...
