My past plants withered quickly planted out. I'd keep it potted. Hope you have better luck!

Down here in FL, the biggest ones I've seen are mound planted for fast drainage and get a good bit of sun.

From everything I've read, treat them like a plumeria. Dry & full sun. They also like to be a little pot bound. You have to shape them. Angled cuts which will branch.

I am seeing a lot of leaf drop now on some plants but not concerned too bad with temps I am seeing in the 10 day. Hoping for the best!

Gorgeous Jose! What kind of canopy do you have? I am always curious about that as a lot of crotons surprise me when given fuller sun than what is recommended as their ultimate condition.
