I'm going to throw and airlayer on it this afternoon. I can't believe it's December and I'm starting airlayers. The next 6 weeks better stay warm or I'm gonna have aluminum foil balls hanging all over the place until April.
 
Keep us posted but that looks like it's running out of chlorophyll. I've had more than a few start out like that and then fizzle out. It'll be a winner if it makes it.

Why chance the air layer now? Dosen't make too much sense. Besides, the chances of it staying this way are slim to none like Phil stated.
 
This sport is now 2 years old. It comes out full yellow and gradually fades to pink and orange. It's not the pale yellow that normally indicates a lack of chlorophyll. Jeff, I would agree with you except that this plant is on the south side of the garden, in a protected area, and is now hanging over the pathway.

Ricky,

It's hard to say, but that sport is being supported on a large, established plant. Once removed, the sport will be on it's own root system and in danger of struggling. If you do, I hope it makes it, keep us posted.
